I met Mr. Blount at the Marriott in San Diego.  His wife said under her breath "Don't get stuck here all day" and walked away.  Needless to say, his mood changed, but he was kind enough to sign my ball. Mr. Simms was being interviewed outside of the San Diego Convention Center.  After his interview, he noticed that I was holding a football and he  came over and signed it.  He was a really polite gentleman. Mr. Carter signed my football at the Marriott.  At first, I tried to hand him an index card, but he said "I don't sign index cards".  I'm glad that he had no problem signing my football.

Mr. Jones was signing autographs at the NFL Experience.  He seemed to be having a good time.  He took my football and said "I don't know why anybody would sign their autograph and you couldn't read it.  When I sign my autograph, I want EVERYBODY to be able to read it!"  He was cool.

Mr. Lott was signing autographs for the U.S. Air Force at the NFL Experience.  He really took his time and was in no hurry at all.  When he took my ball he looked at it and said "Phil Simms.  Hmm, that's cool."  He was a very kind, soft spoken gentleman.

Mr. Anderson was signing for Best Buy at the NFL Experience.  He was really nice and quite talkative, considering how many people were there for his autograph.  It was great that he wasn't rushed and that he was willing to chat a little bit.

Mr. Thomas was signing at the NFL Experience.  He was very cordial, but unfortunately he didn't have much time to chat, because he had arrived a bit late.  It was great to get his autograph, though.
